FILE / ABOUT — COACH PROFILE 001

Twenty years
on the rails.

Vaultline began in 2003 with one pair of worn-out trainers and the concrete banks of eastern Paris. Before parkour had gyms, certifications, or hashtags, it had repetition — the same vault, the same rail, a hundred times until the movement stopped being a trick and became a reflex.

That discipline is still the whole method. Every session is logged, every progression is measured, and every athlete — from a nervous first-timer to a competition freerunner — trains the same way: honest reps, safe landings, no shortcuts.

THE LOG

Two decades, six entries

  1. LOG 01 — 2003

    First vault

Started training on the rails of Parc de Bercy. No gyms, no pads — just concrete, repetition, and a notebook.

  2. LOG 02 — 2007

    First student

A neighbour kid asked to join a Sunday session. The notebook became a curriculum.

  3. LOG 03 — 2012

    Vaultline founded

Formal coaching practice launched in Paris. First structured 8-week progression written by hand.

  4. LOG 04 — 2016

    Lyon gym opens

A second home base: 400m² of modular obstacles, rails, and landing zones built with the community.

  5. LOG 05 — 2021

    9,000 hours logged

Coached 600+ athletes from first-timers to competition freerunners across two cities.

  6. LOG 06 — 2024

    Vaultline today

Programs, jams, and private sessions run year-round — same notebook discipline, better landings.

SEC.03 — METHOD

The philosophy is the floor you land on

01

Repetition over talent

Nobody is born with a precision jump. It is built, rep by rep, at a height you can already survive.

02

Fear is data

Hesitation tells us exactly where the progression needs to slow down — never where it should stop.

03

Landings first

Every athlete learns to fall before they learn to fly. Eighty percent of the first month is rolling, bailing, and absorbing.

04

The spot is sacred

We train the city with respect — no damage, no noise complaints, no ego. Leave every rail better than you found it.
